Monday, February 6, 2017 —
G4S Belgium is proud to announce that it has received the official accreditation from the National Authority Maritime Security (of the Belgian Federal Ministry of Mobility and Transport) to act as a Recognised Security Organisation (RSO) under the International Ships and Ports Facilities Security (ISPS) code. G4S’s Consultancy and Audit division is the first ever under the new scheme to receive the RSO accreditation for all ISPS compliant ports in Belgium, namely Antwerp, Ghent, Zeebruges, Ostend, Brussels, Genk, Liège, the Waterways and the Zeekanaal.
The accreditation from the Belgian National Authority is a milestone for G4S Belgium allowing them to act on behalf of the Belgian Government to carry out Port Facility Security Assessments. By approving G4S as an authorised security partner, the Belgian National Authority strongly endorses G4S’s neutrality, expertise and skills in the high security and critical environments of sea ports.
